Family of origin wounding is an isolating experience. As group therapists with years of experience, we know first hand the benefits of exploring those wounds with others that can relate to your experiences. Our mutual support networks are in the works— see details on the vision below, and make sure to check back or subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
Mutual Support
Our mutual support groups are designed to be safe, compassionate spaces for people exploring and healing from family of origin wounds. If your early family experiences involved neglect, volatility, emotional wounding, unmet needs, abuse, shame, criticism, or high expectations, you are not alone— and you don’t have to carry it by yourself.
Our support groups are facilitated by safe professionals, but ultimately peer led and rooted in mutual support, where members can share experiences, listen with empathy, and offer understanding without judgment.
These spaces are not about fixing the past, but about making sense of how early family dynamics may still affect your relationships, self-worth, and emotional well-being today. Together, we support healing through connection, shared insight, and the validation and empowerment that comes from being understood. With these qualities at the core, you are supported in creating proactive change in your day to day life to increase confidence, improve boundaries, and strengthen relationships.
These groups are not therapy and do not replace professional mental health treatment. They are carefully facilitated peer support spaces designed to foster connection, understanding, and mutual encouragement.
The Framework
Guided by the Three Phases, our group spaces are designed to meet you where you are at in your journey. Whether you are just beginning to explore your family history or are well along your healing journey, there is a space for you here. We will work with you to ensure that you are placed in the appropriate group and will adapt based on need and shifts in goals. As our network grows, we intend to create more specialized group spaces that provide targeted support and increased feelings of connection, while still maintaining a wide enough range of participants that with that only diversity of thought can provide.
Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. I have already recommended this workbook to others.
